Getting around

Okay, so we've spent the last few days getting acclimated and buying essentials for the apartment. We have 2 grocery stores (kinda like ones you would expect in a downtown area). They are Woolworth's (yes Woolworth's!) and Coles. Groceries are pretty expensive - about double what we would see in the U.S. Produce is surprisingly scarce since it is the height of summer. We are planning to go to an outdoor farmer's market tomorrow (Saturday) so we'll see what's up.

We are about 2 blocks from the Cockle Bay Wharf which is part of the Darling Harbour complex. It is absolutely stunning, rows of pricey restaurants, a Starbucks (making Steve happy) and the biggest IMAX screen in the world.

There is also the Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife World there - so we'll make a stop soon.
